Welcome to my website; Hellvellyn's Views.
This site is not dedicated exclusively to the Cumbrian 
mountain, Helvellyn, although there is now a page containing pictures of Helvellyn as well as routes for climbs. Hellvellyn is in fact my online screen name. Note the difference in spelling. This site also provides images of UK landscapes, particularly the English Lake District and other places of interest in the North-East of England, as seen through the lens of an enthusiastic, amateur photographer.
As well as interesting landscapes including sunsets and waterfalls, I enjoy photographing other subjects which I also have an interest in such as old and ancient buidings, rock bands, plants, flowers, birds, insects and other animals. I even have a page dedicated specifically to sheep! I also enjoy viewing the work of other photographers; both amateur and professional alike.

As this is a photography website and pictures are paramount for it's existence, it may take a short time for some images to load.
I've made the pictures with a small file size as possible, without comprimising their quality. As I like to add comments whilst adding pictures and give information about the subject, I'm currently unable to use an album format.
If you like my pictures, feel free to use them! The newer pictures have the website logo already on them which must remain intact. Please don't forget to mention where you got the pictures that have no web address on.

Occasionally, I'll be using pictures other people have taken. If I do that, I'll be adding links to their site if they have one or putting their names on their pictures.
